About Mr. Parker

Hello all! My name is Justin Parker. I'm the Librarian and Technology teacher at St. Joseph's. This is my second year teaching your wonderful students. Before that, my profession was as a law enforcement officer on college campuses. During that time, I found that I had a gift for teaching and sharing with the students. After a few years outside of law enforcement, I felt God's calling to come to St. Joe's and it has been a blessing. I am a book lover during my off time away from school. I also love spending my time with my family. I have a loving wife and three kids. Will is in the seventh grade at Menomonie Middle School. Ethan is in the fourth grade here at St. Joe's and Liv is in the second grade also here at St. Joe's. We also have a puppy, Zoe, that is keeping us all busy!

 

I love teaching at St. Joe's because I have the ability to openly share my faith to the younger generation. I am not Catholic, but I have been part of the Christian faith since I was 15 years old. I have experienced what it is like to grow and mature in my faith and I know how important it is to develop a foundational faith before we send our students out into a school system where faith isn't always openly shared. I believe it is a calling for every Christian to share our faith with younger Christians to encourage them to live out our faith as Jesus taught us. I also believe that it is a blessing to be in an environment where that is encouraged and that is a great thing about working at St. Joe's.
